Parental Control
Analog Cable
Please follow the instructions below to enable the parental control features on your cable converter box.

To Set-Up a Parental Control Password:
- Press "Enter"; the Converter Display will show "LP" flashing.
- Enter a password of up to four digits. The Converter Display "LP" will remain flashing.
- Press "Enter" to display your selected channel.
Selecting Channels to Lock:
- Tune to the channel that you want to lock.
- Press "PC/PM". The Converter Display will show "P". If the unit displays "PL", the unit is locked and must be unlocked in order to access programming.
- Repeat steps 1 & 2 to lock down additional channels.
To Lock Your Selected Channels:
- Press "F". The converter display will show "F".
- Press "PC/PM". The converter display will show "PC".
- Press "Enter". The converter display will alternate between "PC" and the channel selected.
To Unlock Your Selected Channels:
- Press "F" — Converter Display will flash "F".
- Press "PC/PM" — Converter Display will flash "PC".
- Enter your Parental Control password. The converter display will show "PC".
- Press "Enter". The Converter will display the channel number.
Digital Cable
Parental Control allows you to restrict the viewing of objectionable programs. After setting a personalized 4-digit code, you can place locks on selected ratings, channels, and titles. You can also hide adult titles from being displayed on screen.
Place Locks:
- Select Parents on the Main Menu to see the Parental Control screen.
- Use the directional buttons to make your selections, including title, rating, or channel, then press OK.
- You can also press the LOCK button on your remote to restrict viewing of the current or highlighted program or channel. While watching television, or while highlighting a program or channel in the listings, press LOCK. Enter your 4-digit code when prompted. Then press LOCK to lock the title, rating, and / or channel.
View Locked Programs:
- To view a program or channel that you have locked, select it from the listings and enter your 4-digit Parental Control code when prompted.
Bypass or Clear Locks:
- Temporarily open or clear all locks for easier viewing. Select Master Locks from the Parental Control screen and change the option from No to Yes.
Restore Locks:
- To restore locks, press the LOCK button anytime and enter your 4-digit code.
- Or, go to the Bypass Locks screen and change the option from Yes to No.
- You may also restore the locks by turning the set-top box off, then back on.
