Waitsfield Cable To Go All-Digital In Summer 2008 - Upgrade Will Bring Many More Channels And HDTV (12/18/07)
Waitsfield Cable is pleased to announce plans for a major upgrade of its system that serves the Mad River Valley and recently added Bolton Valley service area. By the end of summer 2008, all Waitsfield Cable customers will migrate from traditional analog transmission to a total digital system.
This will greatly enhance the customer viewing experience adding additional programming and making possible offerings like HDTV and integrated digital video recorders (DVRs) possible. The upgrade will require the replacement of all analog cable boxes with new digital boxes that offer integrated cable cards in addition to other advanced features and premium audio/video outputs. The engineering and planning work is in progress and includes the installation and conversion of new cable head-end equipment to digital, plus the many internal efforts necessary to make a project of this scale happen. For more information on HDTV, please click here. Waitsfield Cable is pleased to now offer you the convenience of receiving your monthly billing statement via e-mail. E-bill saves you time and money - no more stamps to buy, checks to write or envelopes to mail and you’re saving paper too!
Your monthly payment may be made online through the “Manage My Account” section of our website at www.waitsfieldcable.com, by calling our automated account management system at 496-1234, or by signing up to automatically have your bill paid via your credit card or deducted from your checking account. For more information or to sign up for this free service, please contact our Customer Service Department at 496-5800 or via e-mail at csdept@waitsfieldcable.com. Waitsfield Cable offers the convenience of accessing your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, via our automated account management system. All you need is a touch-tone phone and you can access your account anytime from anywhere. This service allows you to check your current account balance, the amount of your last payment, and you can also make a payment with a credit card.
To access your account information, simply dial 496-1234 and enter your 4-digit PIN # (if you haven’t setup your own PIN, your default is the last four digits of your account number located on your billing statement). Follow the prompts and select the “Account Balance” option from the automated menu. Don’t forget that Waitsfield Cable also offers online access to your account, via the Internet - simply click on the "manage my account" link. Our online service offers additional capabilities, including the ability to view and pay your cable bill, view pay-per-view schedules, order a pay-per-view movie or event, and update your account information. Both of these services are free of charge. Waitsfield Cable now offers the convenience of online account access giving you the ability to view and pay your cable bill via the Internet. In addition, you now have the capability to view pay-per-view schedules and order a pay-per-view movie or event online. To access your account information, please enter your user name and four-digit pin. If you have not yet registered for access, you can signup by clicking on the “manage my account” located at www.waitsfieldcable.com. Enrollment is free, and once registered, you will have immediate access to view and pay your bills online.
