A Little History

Waitsfield Cable is a subsidiary of Waitsfield and Champlain Valley Telecom, an independent, privately owned telephone company serving the Mad River and Central Champlain Valley regions of Vermont. Locally owned by the Haskin family, WCVT has been providing telephone service to the Mad River Valley since 1904. In 1994, Waitsfield Telecom purchased the Champlain Valley service area and renamed it Champlain Valley Telecom. Being local allows us to really understand the needs of our customers and ensures that we will continue to meet your telecommunications needs in the future.

Waitsfield and Champlain Valley Telecom is a local, family owned, independent telecommunications provider based in Waitsfield, Vermont. WCVT provides a wide range of Internet services including: high-speed DSL service, server hosting, web hosting through its Green Mountain Access subsidiary and Cable Television services through its Waitsfield Cable subsidiary.
